Two. Right now. Full alternate plumage. I know this is highly unexpected,
but go figure. I have some photos, fairly lousy, that I can email to anyone
interested.



Red at the base of the bill, light-yellow bill with red at the base, white
flank patches. In the sun right then, there was a really interesting pale
blue-green sheen on the neck, which contrasted with the rather light black
body.



Saw them together immediately north of the Lighthouse about 125 yards, then
one flew south, the other stayed for a while, then moved north.
