Hey Tweets --

Just a heads up if you want to maybe get a feel for what might be coming
your way in the days and weeks ahead. I am currently down south now for the
next ten weeks at my California Central Coast gray whale calf monitoring
field camp (Pt. Piedras Blancas Light Station). It's not just about the
whales around here, birding too, intense, and lots of it, but ALL from one
tiny spot! My "yard" so to speak. I am posting weekly summaries, results of
full-on dedicated Saturday and/or Sunday 'point counts' (coastal seabird
migration), and occasional other musings. It's 18 years running for me down
here now; maybe some year, I can actually get to spend a Spring in
WASHINGTON. Anyway, if you'd like follow to along or just check in from time to
time, postings of perhaps greatest interest or 'the meat' will always begin
with "Piedras Blancas..." in the subject line starting with Sunday 3/27 and
