Hi Tweeters:
Today at noon (low tide) there were hundreds of Bonaparte's Gulls that we viewed from Seahurst Park in North Burien. Some were perched and flying on the main channel in Puget Sound, and several hundred were perched on the sand flats to the north. A few were in close for a short while. Some of the birds have black heads as they go into breeding plumage.
