I answer the e-mail at Seattle Audubon once a week, and today I found
the following message. I said I would post it on Tweeters and ask if
anyone else has seen this bird or has any comments.

Subject: White Eagle

I just wanted to report that I saw an all white eagle on Sunday morning.
I have never seen anything like it before. It was being harassed by
crows in a tree in my neighbors yard. It flew over my neighbors yard at
a height of approximately 30 feet. I could clearly see its head and
beak. I would estimate that its wingspan was approximately five feet.

I live in the Meadowdale area of Edmonds approximately 1 mile due east
of Meadowdale Park.
