Free admission to National Parks


In celebration of National Parks Week, there will be no admission fees at national parks from April 16 - 24, 2011.
That includes two entire weekends, so get out there and enjoy!

If a government shutdown occurs, all non-essential spending will stop, including spending on federal public land services.
This action could force most national parks and many forests, monuments, refuges, and historic sites to close their doors
for the duration of the shutdown. Please check your destination and call ahead in the unfortunate event of a shutdown.
