I spent the better part of 4 hours today scanning the beaches of Point-No-Point looking for the Little Gull reported there on Thursday.? No luck, but lots of other nice birds on a fairly?good day at the lighthouse.? Bonepartes were there in abundance, along with Mews and Olympics.? Breeding plumage Red-necked Grebes are always a treat and the wetland held several Green-winged Teals.

Just before I left, the Boneys lined up along a rip about a quarter mile off shore (too far to sort through), feeding like crazy.? I'd guess there were 1000 of them from the look of it.
