Dear Mark and Tweeters,
?
Going north on I-405, take exit 24, NE 195th Street, in Bothell.
?
Head east on NE 195th St.
?
Go left (northwards) onto 120th Ave NE. This is maybe a half mile or so after leaving freeway.
?
Take a left (go south) onto Monte Villa Parkway, also called 242 St SE.
?
Go maybe half a mile--it dead ends at a traffic circle.
?
Go left at the circle into the huge school-district complex (North Shore School District). The address is 3330 Monte Villa Parkway, Bothell.
?
Park, then walk counterclockwise around the building. On the south side of the building, there is a little trail on a dike. The dike runs east and west. Go east on the dike. In maybe a hundred meters, you will see a little bird-feeder hanging from a tree, on the side of the dike. A wetland stretches to the north of here. The sparrow goes to this feeder. I think it also goes to various other spots nearby. It took me an hour to find the bird, and I did that by skulking around the feeder. The bird stayed there for all of five minutes, then left.
?
Good luck.
?
Yours truly,

Gary Bletsch
