Heard and saw my first of year (confirmed) Osprey for Seattle today.
(got a poor look at a possible Seattle Osprey about a week or two ago).
Heard the whistling, then saw 2 or 3 over NW Queen Anne and the Interbay
area early this afternoon (maybe 12:30p). Then early this evening saw
one on the nest just south of the West Seattle Bridge for the first time
this year, after checking every day for weeks. It is always easier to
get those first of year sightings than to know if your last of season
will indeed be the last sighting of the season.
