Today I saw and photographed two "firsts" for me: two male greater scaups in the
water at Olympic Beach? (just north of the north marina breakwater) ?and a
northern shrike in a tree on the grounds of the old tank farm below the Pt.
Edwards walkway.?? I have recently seen goldfinches and white-crowned sparrows
on Pt. Edwards as well as?white-crowned sparrows?down at the marina.
