15 Turkey Vultures and a House Wren were noted on Orcas Island on 7 April
Orange-crowned Warblers & displaying Band-tailed Pigeons were present on San Juan Island on the 9th
On both islands, butter-butts (Yellow-rumped Warblers) were ubiquitous among the savanna downs

A Western Meadowlark was on Mercer Island at Lid Park on the 11th &
a robin sang into the wee hours under a street lamp
