Hi Tweets:
It rained all morning, but I perservered. Despite a cheerful email from my sister, the wretch, of her and her family swimming in Cabo.
There were at least 3 Orange-crnd. Warblers singing at Grandview Park. I couldn't see them, as usual. At the 204th St ponds there were ducks, including some N. Pintails, 30 GREATER YELLOWLEGS, and a BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER in almost full breeding plumage.
At Boeing Ponds around noon, the PEREGRINE FALCON pair that have been there all winter were on the big bldg to the south where they usually are.
Today a lady told me she had seen a Green Heron at Boe. Ponds during the week. Christi Norman and I saw one at Tukwila Pond yesterday.
Even though I wasn't in Cabo, it was a good morning of birding.
Yours, Carol Schulz
Des Moines
