Singing Common Yellowthroat are now at the McLane Creek Nature Trail
beaver ponds, newly arrived since the 6th. And a female Red-wing has
joined the 3 males here for some weeks now. And 2 pair of Wood Duck
appear to have settled in for the nesting season...

Walked the 0.7 mile trail loop around the beaver ponds complex, 1345
to 1445. Trails wet-to-soupy from recent rain. Beaver ponds
overflowing, but less so than on last visit here on April 6th.
