Dear Tweeters,

Today (4-16-11) there was a lone SANDHILL CRANE foraging with 22 Tundra Swans on the Samish Flats. The last two times I have been able to find lingering swans in Skagit County this spring have been in this area, along Avon-Allen Road. Today the flock was west of Avon-Allen Road, between Josh Wilson and Peterson Roads.

Green Road Pond had a flock of Tree Swallows with a few Barn Swallows today, too.
