Hello,

Today Carol and I went up to Bothell to the North Creek Business Park and found the Harris' Sparrow which as Gary Bletsch reported last week is molting into adult plumage. Today we saw it at about 2:30 p.m. at the feeder closest to the short trail leading from the parking lot near the education department building. It flew back and forth to the grass near the western-most building and foraged there with other sparrows for a while. Also present were a number of Golden-crowned Sparrows and three Yellow-rumped Warblers (two Myrtle and one Audubon's) all in their best spring breeding dress. White-crowned Sparrow and House Sparrow were also present making five sparrows for the day and a nice opportunity to compare them. Violet-green and Barn Swallows and a number of other species of birds added to our list.
