Remember, if you are planning on a birding trip to Ridgefield NWR, check out
first the Bird Sightings page of the Friends of Ridgefield NWR web site,
www.ridgefieldfriends.org/bird-sightings.php. Multiple birders (up to 20)
corroborate in making this a site that is updated daily to give you an idea
of what to expect when you get to the refuge. Some of the interesting
sightings in the last few days have been Blue-winged Teal, American White
Pelican, five different swallows, Orange-crowned Warbler and many more.
There have been 85 sightings since Friday and more will be added as we go
through the week.
