Hi Tweets,

In southern King County late this morning Barbara and I found 24 Greater
Yellowlegs and 4 Dunlin in the ponds on South 204th St west of the Green
River. The Dunlin were all in the pond north of S 204th, and the Yellowlegs
were about evenly divided north and south of the road. We found relatively
small numbers of waterfowl,at Emerald Downs, but had nice views of a noisy
Common Yellowthroat there. There were a few more species on S 284th, but the
best birding was at Lake Fenwick, where we found about half of the forty
total species we observed. Lots of Barn Swallows at most stops this morning.
