Tweets,

I spotted an Acorn Woodpecker in the area of the restrooms on the west side
of Fort Simcoe State Park this past Sunday (17 April, 2011). I followed it
out to the area between the flagpole and the caretakers house, where I
watched it fly-catching for about 5 minutes before it flew back in the
direction of the restrooms. This may be the same bird that was hanging
around last October.
I also had a good look at a Western Bluebird, a Western Scrub Jay and a few
Lewis' Woodpeckers.
