Thanks Jeff for those perfectly timely tips!! I don't have any at this
point, always thought it would be nice to add to the yard landscape, but
unfortunately am never at home (Bellevue/Eastgate) during the Spring, late
March to late May. For 18 straight Springs now, I'm down here 'working' on the
Central California coast. By the time I get home, it's Memorial Day, and
too late I suppose to find the right Currants (red!). I will be hanging on
to this useful posting of your's as a reminder and reference for when I
actually am in a position to properly landscape with the desired Currants if
I can ever find them.

It's been an epic hummingbird Spring migration down here at my California
