There are valid and appropriate reminders for all of us birders and bird photographers regarding the ethics of interacting with wildlife as well as the etiquette of interacting with human life. It is neither appropriate nor admirable of a poster to hide behind an anonymous email address as has ihaterudebirders at gmail.com and fail to comply with the rules of the listserv. If you have something to say, say it in such a respectful way that you can supply your name and location without shame, as the rules of this listserv require. I would ask the listserv owner to delete this email address from the group. If the owner of this email address is a group member under his or her real name, be a big enough adult to choose your words wisely and then own up to them.
