Hello,

Today, I left early and hit four counties, trying to fill in some holes in
the year list and checking out some migrant traps. It was a good day and
here are some of the highlights.

Crooked Knee Lake; Black necked Stilt, AMERICAN BITTERN (code 5),
Canvasback, Violet Green, Tree, Cliff, N Rough Winged Swallows, Marsh Wren

Reardan Lake is very high. It seems that the wet margins of the lake could
really be good the next few weeks for shorebirds and waders. The wetland
around Sprague STP and the flooded fields between Sprague (town) and lake,
could really be good as well. This where I saw the Godwit. Jon Isacoff saw
it about an hour later. The seasonal lake on Old Kucks Rd is also very high
and looks like it could hold good levels of water for a while. Spring
shorebirding is setting up very good. 97 species today. Fun.
