What a change from yesterday to today.

Just wanted share something all of you probably already knew and I learned
yesterday.

If you want to go shore birding don't do it on an outgoing tide and
especially one that is extremely low, but I could not resist.the sun was
going to be out and I headed to Salt Creek:

- Two male, one female Harlequins sleeping in the rocks

- One female Common Goldeneye in Salt Creek

- Two Male three female Buffleheads in Salt Creek.

- Numerous White-crowned Sparrows

Ediz Hook:

- Common Loon

- Horned Grebe

- Pelagic Cormorant

- Sanderlings

- Two Black Oystercatchers - on old ramp to the right of the boat ramp

- Brant

- Surf Scoter

- White-winged Scoter

- One female Red-breasted Merganser

By the time I got to Sequim Dungeness Landing and Three Crabs the tide was
so low it almost looked like there was no water between the beach and the
Spit..sigh

Ponds on Kitchen Dick Road was quiet.

Sequim Bay:

- Pair of Red-breasted Mergansers

- Numerous Bufflehead

BUT loved the sunny day!
