Here is a strange coincidence. On Friday my wife's friend told her she had seen "a small flock of ground feeding GCRF" in the Sand Point neighborhood (sorry, no other location details yet). She is certainly not an expert, yet she matched the birds appearance with her Sibley guide. I have not spoken with her since I assumed a misidentification even though I cannot guess at what else she might have seen. Would be great if it were true.
