Hi all -
On Friday 4/22, I was surprised to find a female Long-tailed Duck at
North Twin Lakes, in Ferry County. It was hanging out near the north
end of the north lake, visible from the first public campground.

Apologies for the delayed report- I was thinking I'd get a full
weekend report together from a fun three days of birding in Ferry,
Stevens & Pend Oreille counties. Not looking likely to get that
together though -- suffice it to say the window of spring weather was
appreciated, and there were plenty of good birds around, though
migration still hadn't really broken through.
