Next week, on May 7-8, I'll be leading a WOS trip to the San Juan Islands -- we've still got a couple spaces available, so if you are interested, drop me an email. Priority goes to WOS members, of course.
Plans are to meet up early at the Anacortes ferry terminal on Saturday morning, bird Lopez Island most of Saturday, then head on over to San Juan for Saturday eve and Sunday all day.

Given the weird spring, we'll be open to any number of possible bird scenarios -- it could still be a great shorebird time, and perhaps many of the spring migrants will be here. Or maybe we'll get a lot of wintering waterfowl, still hesitating to move north?? Anything is possible, and one way or another it should be a fun weekend on the islands.
