Last week, May 20-24,?Micheal Willison, Michael Shrimpf, Ryan Merrill
and?I traveled on a Holland America cruise ship from San Diego, CA to
Vancouver, BC via Victoria.? We spent about 30 hours on deck over two
full and two partial days searching for seabirds and marine mammals
with telescopes and binoculars.? Before heading out on the ship, we
also spent about 2 days birding southern California.? Below it the
highlights from the cruise portion of our trip.? (The 175 species we
saw in Cali is more suitable for LA area listing, and are available on
eBird)
