Hi Tweeters,

I found 2 SOLITARY SANDPIPERS in west Longview around noon today (4/29/11).
This spot can be reached by walking a gated road on a dike that is an across
from Dike Road at 48th Ave. This intersection is just south of the Pacific
Way-48th Ave. junction. The birds were in the first flooded field you come
to, but there is a second flooded field a bit farther worth checking as are
some of the pasture ponds on Dike Road as all these spots have had
interesting shorebirds in previous years.
