I finished up co-leading the Grays Harbor Shorebird Festival trip to Westport, Bottle Beach, and Tokeland today.? We had a great group and saw some good birds.? We ended up with about 18 species of shorebirds!? Here's a few highlights:

Bottle Beach:

Red Knot - 6 of them
Ruddy Turnstone -? 2
Loads of Short-billed Dowitchers, Dunlin, and Westerns

Tokeland:

Marbled Godwit
Willet - 5
Whimbrel - 10
Long-billed Curlew - 2

Westport - at the jetty:

Wandering Tattler - 1
?
Lots of birds to see and watch down here and the weather is great.? Come on down to the Harbor!
