Sherry and I had a nice day at the Grays Harbor NWR. Nothing really exciting, but the shorebirds put on a good show. We had;
WESTERN SANDPIPER -Lots
LEAST SANDPIPER - 2
DUNLIN - Lots
SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER - 9
BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER - 6
GREATER YELLOWLEGS - 2
BALD EAGLE - 1
PACIFIC-SLOPE FLYCATHCER - 1

At Westport we had;
MEW GULL - 1
PIGEON GUILLEMOT - 1
COMMON LOON - 6 in all plumages
All three Cormorants
BLACK TURNSTONE - 2
WANDERING TATTLER - 3 (1 on the jetty and 2 in the marina)

TURKEY VULTURE sightings were 1 in Hoquiam, 4 in Aberdeen, and 1 in Rochester
