Hello,



Two things this morning.



1) Last evening, while having dinner with my wife near downtown
Spokane, a beautiful Peregrine Falcon came flying by rather slowly right
over Riverfront Park.



2) This would be especially for birders from the west side coming to
the east side to bird the NE corner of the state. I have just learned that
the road to Bunchgrass Meadows (Harvey Creek Rd) will be closed indefinitely
because there has been a major washout and the state does not have the money
to fix it. The road will more than likely be closed the rest of 2011.
