Subject: [Tweeters] Twin Lakes Solitary

*Solitary Sandpiper* that is - A single *Solitary Sandpiper* was feeding in
a small muddy puddle in the middle of Treasure Island Park in Twin Lakes at
about 8:00 pm this evening. The puddle was caused by the sprinkler system.
This is my first record of this species in Twin Lakes in 21 years.

Earlier this afternoon we attended a picnic at Five-Mile Lake. I found two *
Killdee*r and one each* Spotted -* , *Western* *-* and *Least Sandpiper* at
the north end of the lake. Now I would like to extend an open invitation to
the Wood Sandpiper....
