Hey Tweets,

Took the ferry to Vashon Island with the kiddos today. We went to KVI Beach, where there were 30-40 shorebirds: mostlly Western Sandpipers, and handful of Least Sandpipers, and a single Semipalmated Plover. On the Fauntleroy-Vashon Ferry run, I saw some backlit, distant phalaropes on the water, but couldn't see them well enough to ID them past that.

Happy birding!
