This morning's Olympian delighted me with some always beautiful Tony Overman
pictures, sharp full color images of a juvenile hawk. Unfortunately, it's
not the hawk described in the story that goes with the photos.

I'm afraid they're going to be hearing lots about this one. I wish they
would have gotten pictures of the peregrines when they were on the Capitol
dome or hunting bats at Woodard Bay (I've been told that, as long as you're
not using a Nikon, you can get good shots in low light conditions. A Canon
person told me that).
