Red-necked Phalaropes (formerly the Northern Phalarope) are back in Puget
Sound! I?m the guy who birds under sail and I just tied up, and was pleased
to see flocks in the Sound, one mile east of Bainbridge Island, just south
of Blakely Rock. My records would indicate they are a bit later than last
year, but since I bird by sail every few days, I know they are new arrivals.
