Finally got a photo of our elusive native lizard species - the Northern Alligator Lizard - here on Lummi Island.?
I do NOT see these often!? More frequently encountered here is the orange-ish Rough-skinned Newt, which is of course, an amphibian, although I have heard people mistakenly call them lizards.
