The two juvenile osprey's appear to be just about ready to fly and they are in a particularly good location for picture taking if anyone is interested.? I don't have a birding camera so, sorry, no pictures from me.? From the end of the pedestrian overlook bridge you have a slightly downward look at the nest which is pretty unusual and a totally unobstructed view.? On Friday the two kids where begging so loudly that you could hear them all over the park.? Meanwhile mom and dad were down at the other end of the old pier enjoying lunch in the company of several hopeful crows.? Mom and dad also made a couple of pretty flyovers carrying fish as well.

Other birds observed:

barn swallows
rw blackbirds (females and juvis. no males)
2 morning doves (no collared doves)
rock pigeons
robins
c waxwings
crows

There were Mallards in the Chamber's Creek pond.

The estuary featured:

more rock pigeons
canada geese
mallards
gull x? (gw winged as best as I could tell.)
An unidentified accipiter that landed in a tree but I couldn't make out any detail because of the shadows.? Then it flew away while I was setting up the scope.?

Not especially birdy.? I got back down to the estuary too late for shorebirds because the tide was all the way in but the Ospreys were worth the trip.?
