Was on the 7:10 ferry and enjoyed perfect lighting and calm waters.

Edmonds Ferry Pier: a RHINOCEROS AUKLET, 1 PIGEON GUILLEMOT, and 1 calling
MARBLED MURRELET, and 2 HEERMANN'S GULLS were highlights. A pod of at least
10 all gray porpoises (Harbor?) were just off the fishing pier.

Crossing: 28 COMMON MURRE (several rafts), 21 RED-NECKED PHALAROPE, and 2
RHINOCEROS AUKLET were seen. Several bait balls near Kingston attracted an
assortment of gulls including at least 1 BONAPARTE'S, 2 HEERMANN'S, and
several CALIFORNIA.
