Tweeters,

The juv. Stilt Sandpiper found by a WOS Field Trip during the Port Angeles
Convention over the weekend was still present at the pond just east of the
3-Crabs Restaurant in Sequim today (Aug. 23rd at 11:30 am). Note: it is
NOT Helen's Pond, which is across the road and east 1/4 mile and almost dry
as of today!

Also present were both L-b and S-b Dowitchers, Lesser and Greater
Yellowlegs, a Whimbrel, Western and Least Sandpipers.

Stilt's are often described as a "cross" between a dowitcher and a Lesser
Yellowlegs. I was able to photograph the Stilt with both other species.
