hi ... just verifying image ... a Barrow's Goldeneye youngster ???
... I say youngster because the eye is still brown ... bird was
observed on Trout Lake near Mount Adams yesterday (monday) ...

BTW, the image was taken with my new Sony HX100v ... nice little
all-around superzoom camera with a fairly good lens reach ...
