There was a single Baird's Sandpiper at Sportco Ponds among the Yellowlegs
today around 1pm. I was hoping at first it was a Stilt Sandpiper since it
was standing out in the middle and was large for a peep, but once I saw its
legs and wingtips it was clearly a Baird's. It eventually came pretty close
and I got a decent photo.
