When I left at 1:30 no one had reported seeing the snowy owl today.? I spoke with people coming out who had spoken with people who were there early in the morning and also checked at the visitors center.? No owl.?A. It's a big place and we only see less than half so it could be still there and out of sight today.?
B. The Wednesday sighting was just a rest stop and it moved on.? Time will tell.?

Just for grins I went by and checked out the owl tree to see if there was any sign of our Great Horned Owls yet but no luck there either.? Otherwise when I got there at 11:00 the tide was in and the flats were covered with delicious water and fog and was perfectly beautiful.
