Today, Susan and I drove up the Columbia Gorge to Stevenson, Skamania County, WA. We did not spend a lot of time birding but did find TRUMPETER SWANs among the horde of Tundra Swans at the Franz Lake NWR. At the west end of the Hamilton Island fishing road there was a female MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD, an addition to my county year list. Two CACKLING GEESE were at the Rock Creek pond in Stevenson and the beer was great at the Walking Man Brew Pub. Wilson Cady
