Subject: [Tweeters] Fall Season Bird Sightings Requested
Date: Dec 3 13:01:12 2011
From: Ryan Merrill - rjm284 at gmail.com

Hi All,

The Fall reporting season has come to an end (Aug 1 - Nov 30), so it
is time to request unusual bird sightings from the time period for
inclusion in North American Birds and Washington Field Notes. You can
send them to Brad Waggoner (wagtail at sounddsl.com) or myself
(FieldNotes at wos.org). To be clear, an "unusual sighting" could be any
of the following:

1) rare species (either a state rarity or a bird rare in a particular
locality, e.g. Red-throated Loon away from saltwater)
2) early, late, or out-of-season dates for migrants and seasonal
residents (e.g. House Wren in November)
3) high-number counts for any species

Please send reports by December 15th if possible.

Thanks and good birding!
