Thanks to Wilson for posting and Randy Hill for calling me. Randy knew I had spent a couple of hours on River S Unit looking for the snowy owl without success. I arrived at Post Office Lake at 4:50 pm with little light left. I had not closed my car door when I spotted a large white bird flying along the lake on to the adjacent private land and land on a fence "H" brace. The bird was still there when I left. The location of the owl was half way between the house and the Refuge property line and next to Post Office Lake.

Also thanks to Les and Bob!

After not seeing the Ridgefield NWR owl this morning, Les Carlson and Bob Rowe called saying that they located a SNOWY OWL at Post Office Lake, in the Vancouver Lake Lowlands, at about 3:30 PM. Post Office Lake is at the end of Lower River Road.
