Subject: [Tweeters] March Point peregrines

In the past, I have watched a pair of adult peregrines at March Point fly
over to the base of the steam plume at the refinery, circle around and ride
it up to height, fly out over the bay, stoop ducks and then fly over and do
it again several times. They used it repeatedly as a sort of elevator to
get a free ride. Clever birds.
