Hello Tweeters,
We went from Bridgeport up the Central Canyon Ferry Road to the Plateau on Sunday. No snow but every thing was covered with frost. Literally every blade, stem and branch was covered with frost. It really looked great in the sun that we were lucky to get. As we drove up the Central Ferry Road, about a half mile after the Wells Wildlife Area sign, we got great looks at an adult Northern Goshawk on a power pole. It sat long enough for us to dig out the scopes and enjoy a nice long look. Other than that, about the only birds we saw were Rough-legged Hawks, three Shrikes and a total of about 200 Horned Larks. It was a nice drive with all frost.
