Birding paved roads presents no problems. Entry out onto the ?aquaculture dike?, either by foot or, especially by car, is strictly prohibited by the tribe. (For the Bellingham CBC, by a special request, we have received permission for entry by foot for two small groups on ONE day. No other access allowed.) Entry to the area west of Hillaire Road out to the base of the aquaculture dike is somewhat disputed, depending on whom among the tribal members/tribal government/tribal police you speak to.
