My wife and I often drive from Edmonds toward Anacortes and always see a few
Red-tailed Hawks along the way. Yesterday, Dec. 11, we spied many more than
ever during the approx. 1-hr drive (about 10:45-11:45am) and approx. 50
miles between Everett and near Anacortes (where Hwy 20 turns south toward
Whidbey Island) - 16, perched in trees, on highway signs, and one on a lamp
standard. Undoubtedly, there were more. Saw none flying. Hey Bud
Anderson, is this a migration pulse or what?
