Hi tweets
For the last 2 weeks there have been 100's of chum salmon in front of our house(on the bay) .and all around tulalip bay. The stream into the bay beside the tribal center is filled with dead and dying salmon. As a consequence there are at least a dozen bald eagles around the bay. Also there are 100s of glaucous winged gulls lining the bay ,sitting on buildings and crowding docks. Crowds of surf scoters, both goldeneyes , buffleheads and wigeons are present.
In the 14 years of living here, we have never witnessed such an event. There is a salmon hatchery beside the bay.
