So nice to hear that one can still have a refreshing and inspiring
time at the Stanwood site a month after the excitement began there,
with a distant white lump drawing the initial attention, but, upon
repeated visits, additional bird, landscape and various surprise
encounters, mixing in to provide memorable moments in nature, with
one's senses providing a splendid experience, with or without much
bigtime technology. Another habitat treasure, shared by birders,
photographers and "regular" folks as well. Nice...

Thanks to Simone for expressing what turned out to be a lot more than
a trip to see a "target" bird. Here's wishing that many of you have
similar, but unique times like this in the coming new year(s).
Personally, I live for them!
