I?m teaching a gull identification class for Seattle Audubon on January 10
and 17. Last Saturday, while scouting for the class field trip, I had
Western, Herring, California, Ring-billed and Mew Gulls at Sayres Park
(north of Seward Park), and on a rooftop in Tukwila I had 200+ Thayer?s
Gulls with Glaucous-winged/Glaucous-winged x Western and a handful of
Herring Gulls. There are lots of gulls around!
